Downtime problems and bad tech supports

Hi. I have used IX Web Hosting for nearly 2 years, hosting my domains, 2 of which are related to my ecommerce site, so downtime = lost sales, and no email infuriates my clients. They used to be fairly good, but the last month downtime and slow email has been unacceptable. In the past week they have had 3 major outages of over 4 hours duration each. Although their site boosts of responding to trouble tickets in 1 hour or less, I often have trouble tickets that sit for 3-5 or more hours until they correct the problem, and then the response is something like "we just checked and there is nothing wrong." 
 
Today's unexpected 4+ hour outage was the last straw for me (phone support kept saying ETA to correct the issue would be 2 hours, whether I called at 8AM or 12 noon) and after thorough research I have decided I will soon be leaving IX.
