, on 18-01-2010 14:59 My site has been hosted by Hostnine for a number of years and in that time it has gained in popularity. For whatever reason it had been using 100% cpu for awhile and ended up crashing the server. So Hostnine suspended my account. But when I tried to transfer my files to a new server, the backup file they provided was incomplete (some files were empty, entire folders were missing, the database output was missing tables even though they somehow managed to output the database twice in the same file). And when I submitted a ticket on a Wednesday asking for this issue to be addressed, I got no response from them. It is now Monday. My site had just won a couple of awards this week and no one can even access it now. Because of this issue, my ad revenue is affected, the momentum of my blog's success is interrupted and any new readers I might have are turned away. Hostnine says they have 24-hour support but that is clearly not the case here.
